• The first Hopi Indians hunted mammoths.
• Until they were extinct.Corn was a common
  grain.They farmed corn,beans,
• Melon and squash.When mammoth became extinct,they
  hunted bison.

Shelter/Where

• The Hopi lived in the the high mesas to
• Protect them from enemies.The Hopi lived
• In Arizona. Houses are one or two stories
• High. Made of stone,mud and straw.

Arts and Crafts.

• The Hopi made Kachina dolls out of wood. They
  also made pottery , clothing
• And baskets.They mined turquoise for jewelry.

Traditions

• The Hopi Indians had many traditions.
• When they had ceremonies they had them
• Under ground. The Hopi called them Kivas. Hopi
  women wore earnings before they were married.
