  • Cold liquor tanks are known to be cold water
    tanks in brewery process. They are specially
    known for the buffer tanks that contains cold
    water used for the purpose of cooling the bitter
    wort temperature down to the fermentable level
    range after boiling, this is been done by using
    the wort cooler.

  • Cold liquor tank is known to be the cold water
    storage tank that been a simple as single skin
    vessel in a room of cold temperature. This is
    been jacketed by the glycol tanks or the
    insulated tanks with a cooling coil that is
    immersed inside the water.

    the cooling capacity and the styles of the beer
    this can help you to recommend the appropriate
    volume and also the cooling methods.

  • A cold liquor tank has the capacity of
    holding 1200 liters and when the water can be
    passed through heat exchanger once then it will
    be run in to the hot liquor tank that is around a
    70 Celsius.

    in allowing the brew again without waiting for
    hot liquor tank to get in to the suitable
    temperature level for strike temperature.
    Actually we do require bigger cold liquor tank
    for a successive brews.

    liquor but in case of the brewing process the
    tank is filled with the cold water. The breweries
    use the hot water for the purpose of the mashing
    the grain while rinsing the grain bed and for the
    cleaning. The cold water is been run in to the
    heat exchanger. There are two benefits in the
    cold liquor tank, one is it was been a safest run
    water for the heat exchanger. Second is to run
    the water in a closed circuit back and forth
    inside the cold liquor tank will be easy. We also
    avoid the washing process.

    can use the cold water to cool the hot wort, then
    again the cold water will turn in to hot.
  • Finally the cold water helps in more ways in
    the brewing process of the system.
