Here are two letters sent to veterinarians from
their clients.
  • The first letter is to Dr. Rose in Richmond, VA.
  • The second letter is from Dr. Hickey in Short
    Pump, VA

  • Re Lucky
  • Dear Dr. Hickey,
  • Thank you so much for giving my cat, Lucky, a
better quality of life with the introduction of
the K Laser techniques. As I indicated at the end
of this letter, it would be a pleasure to
recommend to others a product that I have seen
    work first-hand with remarkable results.
  • As you know, Lucky is 19 1/2 years old and
suffers from severe arthritis in all of her
joints. Although she does have other medical
problems for which she receives medication, those
problems are all under control. Her thyroid
function is off, so she needs a pill every day.
Because her thyroid is off, it has affected her
kidney function so she needs fluids every other
day. However, her reports on those conditions, as
they have been for the last couple of years,
continue to be excellent. The only thing not
addressed was her arthritis, due to the limited
options available to cats. She walked very poorly
and it seemed to me that she was hurting.
Unfortunately, it is very difficult to give cats
at any age pain medication, as much of it could
be fatal. Further compounded by her advanced age,
little could be done for her. Therefore, she
continued to suffer with the pain and discomforts
of her arthritis. Of course, I did what I could
to ease it --- I gave her preventative
supplements for arthritis, provided soft bedding,
low litter boxes, and whatever else I could think
of along with large doses of soothing handling. I
even provided various steps and boxes around the
house so she could easily climb on them to get to
a bed, couch or windowsill. Climbing them,
though, was becoming very difficult so she
abandoned many of them. In all, her quality of
life was becoming a challenge that needed
    reckoning with for her sake.
  • At her last checkup, I asked you, as I always do,
if there was anything new on the market for cats
with arthritis. You mentioned a new laser
procedure that might help her. I agreed to let my
cat try it, because I had to do something. She
could not walk across my living room floor to get
to the kitchen where her food is without stopping
to rest three or four times. It appeared that
just getting up and down from the floor was a
chore for her. I also noticed that her right rear
    leg was starting to drag.
  • Quite interestingly, after her first laser
treatment, I took her home, put her down on the
living room floor and watched in amazement as she
walked to the kitchen to eat without stopping.
Subsequent treatments seemed to reinforce her
progress. She stopped dragging her right rear
leg. She climbed back on the bed using the boxes.
She can walk the distance in my apartment now
without taking the many rest stops she used to
take. She is starting to reach down in front of
her to pick up a treat instead of always having
to plop down on her side to reach over and grab
it with her mouth. She sleeps more soundly. She
walks taller. She looks good ---perky, in fact.
  • Although I am not under the illusion that there
are miracle drugs or treatments that will total
cure her arthritis and turn her back into a
young cat, I do note that her quality of life has
definitely improved, as I do not sense she is the
same great pain as before the treatments. As a
side note, after a few treatments, she almost
seemed to welcome the last few unlike the first
    time.
  • Thank you again for all that you have done to
improve Luckys life. We are both enormously
grateful. From my experience, I would without a
doubt, highly recommend this treatment to others
with veterinary approval. You may selectively,
that is on a personal level, not internet or
other, give out my contact information to anyone
who would like to speak to me.
  • Sincerely,
  • M. R.

Dear Dr. Rose April 7, 2006   First words
that pop into my head.....WOW .....
UNBELIEVABLE....SANITY SAVER...   Our cat,
Ashley, 20 years old, has meowed or cried very
loudly (almost 24/7) for about six years....many
x-rays, blood tests etc. they could find nothing
wrong...Three to Four weeks ago, I was at my wits
end and once again took Ashley to the  vets...'Do
Something" I cried - Dr. Rose asked me to leave
Ashley for a few days so he could do a new Hot
Laser treatment on her.  I ran out the door - a
whole 3 or 4 days without the crying...Yeah!   Whe
n I picked her up, I was a real doubter....Hot
Laser treatment..I don't think so - Much to my
surprise the ride home was totally
silent.....After a few hours, I really thought we
had the wrong cat...then I was hesitant to call
the Vet Office to say this is fantastic because I
was afraid it would jinx the silence.   Ashley
had been sitting at the bottom of the stairs for
about the last eight weeks and started howling at
500 AM...first AM she was home, we slept til
700 AM.     The MOST IMPORTANT difference is
what it has done for Ashley's life...After 6
treatments she is going up and down the stairs
once a day (she has not done this in years), she
is also playing with a hanging toy. I think she
was probably 12 the last time she played with
anything.   It's nice to come home again   One
daughter that has an arthritic neck and wants to
know if she can get an appointment!   MAW   P.S.
Twenty Four hours after 7th treatment...Ashley
went up and down the stairs 3 times
today....played with hanging toy for 10 minutes

  • Tunér and Hodes The Laser Therapy Handbook is
generally regarded as the most comprehensive and
accessible body of research and information on
    Therapy Lasers.
  • Both authors are much-published members of the
Swedish Laser-Medical Society. Dr. Tunér is also
a board member of the World Association for Laser
    Therapy.

The authors themselves state that we all have a
lot to learn together this valuable tool will
arm you with the best possible understanding of
laser physics, application, and efficacy.

Problem Degloving injury to Neuropathy to Self
Mutilation 2 year duration. (Secondary to Broken
back due to hit by car) Overweight, digits non
movable, frozen, stilted gait
Outcomes Neuropathy under control, self
mutilation has stopped and wounds are healing
remarkably

This is going to be her 4th laser treatment. She
is a back surgery patient. she lost motor
ability she did not lose deep painher cord was
bruised and did suffer damage quite extensively
Actually today, shes able to move and lift her
tail, so I would say in a matter of just days
were already seeing improvement. (Shows her back
incision) Heres an incision thats only 5 days
old. Most people would say it looks like its a
week or better. I think that you can see how much
it accelerates the healing.

Q What do your clients have to say about
it? Again, nothing but positive things. Theyre
impressed. Theyre seeing their pets in a whole
new way. Some of these animals that have been
down and out, sore and not responsive to other
treatments, have been helped (theyre) jumping
in the back of the car a couple of treatments
laterIts been great.

Five years ago (when wed) do a cruciate surgery
on a dog .by the time the skin staples came out,
twelve to fourteen days post-op, wewould hope
that they would be toe-touching on that leg we
were happy. Now, with using the laser for surgery
and doing an immediate postop laser therapy
before we bandage or anything still on the
surgery table two days later we do the second
laser therapy on them and a bandage change. Those
clients come in five days after that for a
bandage change, we do a third laser therapy and
do the 4th one when the skin staples come out.
Im (unhappy) if theyre not walking normally
when the staples come out.
