    Communism around the world.
  • Marshall Plan- The US gave free Europe billions
    to rebuild after war.
  • The Berlin Airlift made America look like a world
    leader.

    Pact for mutual defense.
  • In response, the USSR and seven other countries
    signed the WARSAW Pact
