Scan Horizontally

• Scan oversized scores horizontally capturing half
  a page at a time
  
• (Rotate, recognize and join later).
• HINT Save files as Page 1a, Page 1b, etc.

Select Open in Image Editor after scanning.
Rotate, Crop Recognize.

• Select Open in Image Editor
• Rotate each page
• Crop music region
• Recognize
• Save file

Build list of all 1/2 pages in correct order in
the Begin Recognition window.

Edit each 1/2-page sectionsequentially in
SmartScore

• Compare original (in yellow) to the interpreted
  version (in white).
  
• Complete suite of tools
• Use page turning tool to move from one page to
  the next.
  
• NOTE ENF pages will still be displayed as half
  pages. Recombining comes later

Re-link Parts and Merge Systems (Edit Part
Linking)

• Select correct parts for top half-page.
• Push Next System and select correct parts for
  bottom half-page.
  
• Go back to Previous System, check Merge with
  and push Next System. Systems merge.
  
• Repeat for each Top and Bottom half-pages to
  form properly joined systems.

Open Page Setup

• Choose Loose Leaf Layout
• Choose Custom Page Dimension
• Push OK.

Setup Custom Page Dimensions

Systems and pages automatically reformat. Print
out newly reformatted score.
