• Mission Chandrayan
• It is the Indias 1st unmanned mission to moon.
  Chandrayan means moon vehicle in Sanskrit. It
  was first proposed by ISRO in 1999it got
  cabinet nod in 2003 and was earlier named as
  Somayana.
• Journey
• The 3,86,000km journey is expected to be
  completed in 5 ½ days. Chandrayan-1 will spend 2
  years circling the moon, remaining almost 100km
