  • United Nations Association Brazil is a grass
    root institution liked to the UN that aims to
    educate, inspire and mobilize the Brazilian civil
    society regarding the principles and values
    inscribed in the Charter of the United Nations.
  • UNA-Brazil is also engaged with disseminating the
    institutional importance of the work developed by
    the UN through the implementation of projects,
    activities and partnerships in the local,
    national and international spheres.

Fórum das Américas
  • Fórum das Américas is an independent institution
    dedicated to the discussion of the main
    hemispheric issues, from human rights to
    democracy, from environment to free trade areas.
  • Founded in 1978, Fórum das Américas has already
    organized a number of events with highlights to
    The United Nations and Society in the Threshold
    of a New Millennium, in 1998, that counted with
    the UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan as the main
    speaker and gathered the most important leaders
    of the Brazilian society. UNA-Brazil was
    established in this same occasion.
