PowerPoint

• PowerPoint has been instrumental in my success in
  the classroom.
• Coming from the days where all notes were audible
  and not visual, this gives students the chance to
  not only hear the content but also to see and
  experience it.
• Technology is ever-present in todays classroom
  and from the looks of things will never leave.

Why use it?

• Puts information at your fingertips.
• No need for paperwork.
• Allows the combining of internet resources,
  audio/visual aides, and course material all in
  one place.
• If used as a tool and taught as a skill this will
  enhance your students learning even further
  (assign a PowerPoint to students)

Where can I find information for my presentations?

• Anything you have can be inserted into
  PowerPoint.
• Internet links can be added
• Pictures can be added
• Music can be added
• Charts can be added
• There is almost no end to the possibilities
• Animation Library Flaming Text

How do I do it?

• Pull up PowerPoint.
• Choose Design
• Add Slides
• Find information or create information
• Assign animation schemes
• Have fun with it
• Save your work (preferably to a jump drive)
