  • On the opposite side of the state, the Lake Erie
Wine Country is a refreshingly beautiful region
of New York, featuring 23 wineries that grow and
produce a diverse variety of grapes. Because the
region is so compact, the area is organized into
one central Chautauqua-Lake Erie Wine Trail. The
wineries on this trail are mostly boutique
wineries where visitors will feel right at home
in the vineyards and tasting rooms. Lime and bus
tours are available to take visitors on any one
of the wine tours mentioned above. Long Island
