1
The dynamics of Newton's laws
  • By Tabatha Lisle

2
Magnetic force
  • Magnetic force is when two magnets pull together
    or apart.
  • For example if you put two south magnets
together they wont stay together but if you put
south and a north side they stay together.

3
Electric force
  • Electric force is when you can feel the force .
  • Foe example when you rub your hand really
  • Fast on a cover you can touch someone and you can
feel the electric going to the other person from
    you.

4
Gravitational force
  • Gravitational force is a force that holds objects
    down.
  • For example gravitational force is what holds us
    down.

5
Weak interaction and nuclear force
  • It is rare because it is only found in the
    nucleus
  • For example an explosion

6
Newton's first law of motion
  • Newton's first law of motion is that an object
in rest stays in rest and an object in motion
    stays in motion.
  • For example a toy ball rolling across the floor
and doesn't stop, it will continue to be in
motion until it hits something or anther force
    stops it.

7
Newton's second law of motion
  • When someone applies force to an object it will
    accelerate.
  • For example pushing a box across the room

8
Newton's third law of motion
  • Every object has an equal and opposite
    reaction
  • For example a rocket . A rocket would be one
because the fire lifts it up and pushes against
the ground causing it to have a reaction.

9
FM x A
  • An example would be a plane crashing
  • You will need to know the force of the plane
because you wouldnt want the plane to crash
    again.
  • You will need to know the mass times acceleration
to figure out the force of the plane

10
Mf/a
  • An example of mf/a would be a car
  • You have to know the force of the car and the
    acceleration to get the mass.

11
Af/m
  • For example a fish swimming
  • To know the acceleration of the fish you have to
know its force and the mass of the fish.

12
Wm x g
  • for example a rock
  • To know the weight of the rock you have to know
    the mass and the gravity.

13
Mw/g
  • For example a building
  • You have to divide the weight of the building by
    the gravity.

14
Gw/m
  • For example a dog
  • You have to know the weight and the mass of the
dog to know how much gravity is pulling it down.
