BLACK DEATH
  • During the hundred years war an even greater
crisis was the black death. It swept the Europe
between 1347-1351. the plague originally came
from central and eastern Asia. Traders
unknowingly brought rats carrying disease to
Mediterranean ports. The disease was called the
black plague. The disease killed at least 25
million people the manor system, already weakened
by the growth of the cities, collapse. Plague
survivors found their skills in demand and
charged more for their labor. Instead of working
for the rich peasant had other job opportunities.
They eventually found out what was causing the
disease and fixed the problem and the disease
would eventually die off and at someone point
