Defining Collaboration

Chris Huxham, in Creating Collaborative

such as networking and cooperation. Huxham
distinguishes these terms from collaboration.
He defines collaboration as the
following Collaboration is the exchange of
information, the altering of activities, the
sharing of resources, and the enhancement of the
capacity of another for the mutual benefit of all
and to achieve a common purpose.

collaboration between the College of Education
    and Arts and Sciences?
  • How can you assess and measure the impact of
collaborative activities on candidate learning or
    other impact targets?
  • What are the needs in Colleges of Education and
Arts and Sciences to hit the collaborative
    impact target?

25
Responsibilities and Signposts for
Collaboration-How can you start assessing today?
