Introduction of Jaipur
  • Jaipur, is the capital and largest city of
    the Indian state of Rajasthan.
  • Jaipur is also known as Pink City of India.
  • It is an extremely popular tourist destination in
    Rajasthan and India showcases an excellent blend
    of tradition, culture and modern attitude.
  • The city presents a unique synthesis of culture
    that has to be tried in order to be appreciated.

Climates
  • Jaipur has a hot semi-arid climate.
  • Summer months of April to early July have average
    daily temperatures of around 30 C (86 F).
  • During the monsoon there are frequent, heavy
    rains and thunderstorms, but flooding is not
    common.
  • The winter months of November to February are
    mild and pleasant, with average temperatures
    ranging from 1518 C (5964 F)

Forts and monuments
Hawa Mahal
  • Palace for queens. Its beauty cant be written or
    tell in words. It is an experience to feel
    yourself.
  • A Pandora's box of wonders, the enchanting Hawa
    Mahal is a multi-layered palace, with a profusion
    of windows and stone screens.

Amber Fort
  • Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort
    palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh
    I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai
    Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner
    paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and
    Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression.

Jantar Mantar
  • Jantar Mantar is known as the worlds largest
    observatory in the world and is used to calculate
    the astrological calculations for Panchang (Hindu
    Calendar) and other planetary observations.
  • This is the largest and the best preserved of the
    five observatories built by Jai Singh II in
    different parts of the country. This observatory
    consisting of outsized astronomical instruments
    is still in use.

CITY PALACE
  • City Palace is the one of the most famous kings
    palace in the world and a major landmark in the
    Jaipur. It was built by the founder of Jaipur
    Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh.
  • A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional
    Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls
    over one-seventh of the area in the walled city.
    It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev
    Temple and the City Palace Museum.
