The game consists of Bingo cards and a number
calling guides. You play the game the same way
as conventional Bingo, except instead of using
numbers you ask questions. As you ask a
question, "What is the symbol for Strontium?"
the students look at their cards, covering up
the answer if it appears on their cards. You may
wish to have one of the students be the "caller"
while you check to see if the students are
covering the right answer. You may wish to play
any number of variations of the game
regular five in a row, four corners, or for a
real challenge "black-out, having the
students cover the entire card to win. Students
must read back, both symbol and correct name for
the element to win. This provides an interesting
way to review the course content. You may wish
to use this before holidays, and award prizes of
some sort to the winners. No matter how you use
the game, you will find lots of enthusiasm and
the students eager to play it again.
