OBJECTIVES
  • Discuss useful methods to motivate residents to

    management techniques
  • Examine the consequences of incomplete
    requirements

3
SIDE NOTE
  • These were the objectives given to us as an
outline for our presentation however, we all know
as the official keeper of records that we each
motivate residents, waste time and energy, and
have daily challenges that we each deal with and
    handle differently.
  • A KEY to making it through these times is the
relationship developed with the PD and residents.
  • We can always get more with honey

4
COMPLIANCE
  • A few ways are -
  • Giving the PD the answer key(s) to on-line
compliance tests and have them complete them
during weekly lecture as a group
  • Invite a certified RN once a month for
TB/FIT/FLU/Tdap. Had a few ER RNs certified to
    give these tests internally
  • Invite speakers such as Social Worker to review
the APS/CPS process, AOA hospital survey, AIDET
    training
  • Providing everyone with badge cards for easy
access (Core Measures, AOA Competencies, Mission
    Statements)
