  • Pick fonts your audience can read easily.
  • Use clear, easy to understand language in your
    slides
  • High contrast between font and screen colors -
    slides are viewed at a distance and in low light
  • Only use appropriate symbols, graphics or sound
    effects
  • Use slides for necessary content only

  • Presentation to a large audience
  • Presentation materials likely to be used again or
    may have many versions
  • Room well-equipped for computer use (computer,
    projector, projection screen) OR displaying
    transparencies (with overhead projector)
  • Color or multimedia effects important to convey
