It?
  • Living in the 21st century, you can no doubt know
    that you are living in a world where everything
    needs to be done quickly and efficiently.
  • This kind of phenomenon is not uncommon in this
    century, and this kind of urgency to do tasks
    flawlessly have caused stress in the community
    that you and I live in today.
  • For example, you have to take care of your kids,
    pay bills that are still left on the table,
    working non-stop so you can survive this month
    etc.
  • These daily routines can really stress you out if
    you do not know how to handle these problems. But
    before diving into the topic, you must first
    understand what stress is really about and how it
    pops up in our daily lives.

Stress Defined
  • Stress as defined by Wikipedia
  • A pattern of physiological, behavioral,
    emotional, and cognitive responses to real or
    imagined stimuli that are perceived as blocking a
    goal or endangering or otherwise threatening to
    our well-being.

  • Financial difficulties, job commitments, family
    obligations, health problems etc are some of the
    reasons why people get stressed
  • Stress can come out just from anything that you
    can think of. When you overwork your body to the
    limit, youll be stressed out.
  • When you think or have negative thoughts about
    yourself and what is happening to you, stress
    will build up mentally and affect your overall
    daily performance

Managing your Stress
  • Identify what causes stress to you and seek out
    methods to solve it.
  • For example, if you are suffering from too much
    workload in your job, you can take some time off
    to let yourself relax.
  • A lot of people work so hard that they forget to
    pamper themselves for what they are doing.

Get in Touch with Yourself
  • Be honest with yourself, how long has it been
    since your last Me time?
  • Using your Me time wisely can reduce stress
  • For example, indulge yourself with games and
    activities that you used or still may love
