Awad Rasras has studied in reputed colleges and
universities such as the University of Kansas and
Texas Womans University. He completed his B.S.
in Mathematics in 1978 and thereafter attended
Texas Womans University to pursue his MA degree
in Mathematics. He completed his Master of Arts
in Education from the University of Kansas in the
year 1985. Awad Rasras joined the Jefferson
Community and Technical College, Louisville, KY
in 1987 and has been serving the college since
then.

level. Founded in 1915 and headquartered in
Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C.,
the society publishes many journals, including
The American Mathematical Monthly, Mathematics
Magazine, The College Mathematics Journal, Math
Horizons and MAA Focus.  The KYMATYC is a
recognized statewide organization that allows
teachers of mathematics (on college level) and
other individuals who have an interest in
Mathematics, to become its members.
