• Requested by Department of Housing
• Open to anyone to use and/or change to meet their
  needs
• Designed around principles from the Blueprint for
  a Green Campus initiated by the Environmental
  Center
• Goal of this project is to save money and the
  environment by reducing water use for irrigation

Growth Requirements

• Water requirements based on plant appearance
• Amount is subjective
• Need to be checked on
• All are still xeric

Appearance

• Blossoms are noted, leaves and stems are not
• Most will be green at some point
• Blossoms will appear in the season of bloom

• Description of what type of plant it is
• Be sure to note units on the height and diameter
• Analyze according to space, security issues, etc.

• Gives pertinent information that might go
  unclassified
• Gives both positives and negatives
• Very important to check this section before
  planting

• Location can be filled in as the chart is used
• Complementary plants based mostly on looks
• but some could be relating to shade or insect
  attraction or other things found in the references

• May also contain additional information if it is
