introduction

• With this presentation we wanted to show what our
  school is like , Hijas de Cristo Rey , and also
  as the city of A Coruña.
• Were so excited to show our manners and our
  personality here , in Galicia , Spain.

The town

• To begin we will show you where our school is.
• This center is located in the town of O Carballo,
  Oleiros, A Coruña.
• And it is located in Spain ,
• Europe.

• In A Coruña there are many important monuments,
  and we have decided to explain a bit about that
  here have more fame by teens, for example, the
  obelisk, which is one of the most popular
  monuments of the city of A Coruña , was erected
  in memory of Linares Rivas Aureliano mayor in
  1895. This is a memorial column that corresponds

• Marineda City Leisure, Shopping Business Centre
  is the largest commercial complex in Spain and
  third largest in all of Europe! Its located in
  the Northwest of Spain, just a few minutes south
  from downtown La Coruña.
• The city hosts the most important financial ,
  textile and distribution companies, which makes
  La Coruña one of the richest areas in Galicia.
• Marineda City has more than 3.600 m2 to the most
  exclusive fashion and accessories brands,
  increasing its high-end stores offer and creating
  a distinctive decoration differentiating it from
  other Shopping centers.

• Among others, there is a Roman lighthouse located
  by the sea, the Tower of Hercules, which has a
  small story based on a legend that tells that
  Hercules came by boat to the shores surrounding
  the tower now, and that was precisely where the
  where he buried the head of the giant Geryon

  represents the continuity of the Roman legacy of

The town

• To end this El Castillo de Santa Cruz is one of
  the symbols of the City Council of Oleiros. It
  sits on an island of the estuary of A Coruña
  which is accessed by a wooden footbridge. It was
  declared of cultural interest for its high
  historical interest, which together with its
  natural beauty and landscape make this an
  extraordinary place filled with magic and history
  . The island has around a seafront promenade from
  which you can enjoy a wonderful and excellent
  views over the city Herculina as well as Santa
  Cruz and its small port, but today the number of
  sailors is very small , was one of the most
  important of Oleiros between sixteenth and
  eighteenth centuries . On the outskirts of Santa
  Cruz there are other sights worth visiting such
  as Natural Monument "Coast-Serantes he left,"
  Santa Cristina beach or the small Porto Lorber.

  students, the study system and other curiosities.

THE SCHOOL

• About our school is a religious school when nuns
  live. Is quite big because you can study from 3
  years to 17.
• Our school is religious, so here we pray in the
  morning
• The students always go uniforms and they most to
  follow a rules like teachers.
• The study system here is so single We have 3
  evaluations and finally arrive the waiting
  finally notes in June. If the students fall some
  subjects they will recuperate it in September
  before start the new curse. If the students fall
  a lot of subjects they will repeat the curse.

• We have many classrooms , some are to specifics
  classes like the drawing room where we draw and
  paint, the laboratory where we experiment and
  sometimes we have science class in there , the
  computer room where we surf the internet and we
  learn about pc.

• The workshop where we made gadgets , the library
  where we can study and read , the gym where we do
  a lot of sport , the gardens that are so
  beautiful.

• The playground where we have the break , the
  music class where we learn to play instruments
  ,and finally the classrooms where we have class.

• Now, we are going to talk about the curiosities.
  In the middle of November the E.S.O. and bachelor
  students participate in the Pregón , it is an
  event where the curses make a dance and a
  costume. It is very funny !!
• In this celebrations we organize the solidary
  Tómbola too. When we draw lots for objects and
  the collets go to poor people.

THE SCHOOL

• Other curiosities is the way to celebrate the
  peace day. In this day the kids play, sing and
  dance on the schoolyard and they drop balloons.
• Also we have the Magosto celebration when we
  grill some chestnuts.
• On carnival the children make theirs costumes and
  go to the patio when they play and sing a
  songs. The Primary students make a great parade
  when day really enjoy them selves.
