Views - Content vs. Design

• Outline Write your presentation.
• Masters Changes fonts, colors, etc.
• Slide Polish your show.
• Slide Sorter Modify the slide order.
• Slide Show Rehearse!

Font and color

• Two or three fonts are plenty.
• If you use unusual fonts, consider embedding
  them.
• Pick three or four colors that look nice
  together.
• Use high contrast colors for background and text.
• Dont forget about red/green color-blindness.

Multimedia

• Insert Picture, Sound, etc.
• ClipArt déjà vu - Everyone has seen them already.
• Does it add content/understanding to your
  presentation or is it just fluff?

Nonlinear Presentations

• Slide Show Action Buttons
• Link to other documents.
• Control slide navigation.
• Use your own graphics.

Ready Set Go!

• Make handouts.
• Put your presentation on the Web.
• Practice where you preach!
