1. You must always grow

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to
be prophets, some to be evangel-ists, and some to
be pastors and teachers, to prepare Gods people
for works of service, so that the body of Christ
may be built up until we all reach unity in the
faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and
become mature, attaining to the whole measure of
the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 411-17

We have much to say about this, but it is hard to
explain because you are slow to learn. In fact,
though by this time you ought to be teachers, you
need someone to teach you the elementary truths
of Gods word all over again. You need milk, not
solid food. Anyone who lives on milk, being
still an infant, is not acquainted with the
teaching about righteousness. But solid food is
for the mature, who by constant use have trained
themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Do you not know that in a race all the runners
run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a
way as to get the prize. Everyone who com-petes
in the games goes into strict training. They do
it to get a crown that will not last but we do
it to get a crown that will last forever.
Therefore I do not run like a man running
aimlessly I do not fight like a man beating the
air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so
that after I have preached to others, I myself
will not be disqualified for the prize. 1 Cor.
