• We want to use our control system as a tool, just
  another piece of the overall puzzle.
• Proper control of a facility reduces energy
  usage, increases equipment life, and can play a
  major role in a youre sustainability goals.

• Control systembrings information back to a
  central location and controls specific devices in
  reaction to a process variable or anticipation of
  a specific situation or need.
• Sustainabilitybalancing a growing economy,
  protection of the environment, and social
  responsibility, so they together lead to an
  improved quality of life for ourselves and future
  generations.

The Right Fit for Youre Facility.

• Capabilities, expandability, and compatibility of
  a system. (Proprietary or Open).
• Can the systems software and hardware meet youre
  needs, does it have the ability to be expanded
  with youre facility, and is it and/or will it be
  compatible with other software and hardware you
  may use.
• A Hyundai wont perform to the specifications of
  a Corvette, and on the other hand we dont need a
  Corvette to sit in traffic all day.

Proper Control Strategies

• Important that the controls be implemented
  correctly, hardware and software, for youre
  facilities specific needs.
• Many facilities have a more than capable system
  I/O wise, but it may lack the ability, or the
  proper programming in place to take care of its
  primary objective.
• Use qualified, reputable, and knowledgeable
  consultants, manufacturers, and contactors to
  achieve youre specific goals.

Upgrading and Maintenance

• Important that the controls be serviced and
  maintained correctly both on the hardware and
  software sides.
• Many upgrades to software add features that may
  help assist in reaching youre goals.
• If our system isnt analyzing correct data, or
  controlling the end devices properly, we cant
  achieve or primary objectives.

• By implementing the correct control system and
  strategies specific to youre facility, and
  through proper maintenance a control system
  becomes a valuable tool in obtaining and
  maintaining sustainability.
• Analyze youre facility a little closer and see
  if you can use some of the knowledge you have

  forward towards our common goal Sustainability.
