Academically Intellectually Gifted Services
The AIG Department is a part of the
Exceptional Childrens Department. Marilyn
Hobson is the AIG coordinator and works with AIG
teachers, regular teachers, and principals to
provide services for our gifted students.
Elementary students are served by 5 itinerant
teachers who work closely with regular teachers.

shared with regular teachers to assist with
differentiation of instruction within the

differentiated instruction In Middle School
Students are served by AG teachers in language
arts and math. Students who may not meet the
qualification requirements but are able to meet
the academic requirements of the AG class are
often grouped into these classes. In High
School students have a variety of opportunities
for high level instruction with choices ranging
from honors classes to Advanced Placement
classes. Students and parents, with assistance
from counselors, select the students high school
course of study.
