- Postoperative Pain
- The postoperative pain is caused as a result of
surgery such as anxiety, nausea, elevated
adrenalin, increased heart and respiratory rate.
This is treated by respective medications,
medical instruments and surgeries. - Cancer Pain
- Cancer Pain may be due to infection,
inflammation, psychological problems, blocked
blood vessels and any side effects from cancer
treatments. The cancer pain is treated by
removing the tumor causing the same. - Lumbar disc Herniation
- When a disk degenerates, the inner core leaks
out causing it to herniate. The treatment for
this can be by physical therapy, Osteopathic,
Oral steroids or epidural injection.

- An abnormal condition due to spinal nerve roots
compressing causing neck pains and muscle
weakness. This is treated by Muscle Spasm
Therapy, Cervical Traction, Non Surgical Spinal
Decompression and Pain Medications - Myofascial Syndromes
- It is a musculoskeletal condition with painful
foci of muscle called trigger points. Pain may be
reported at an area away from trigger point
making it referred pain. The main cause of this
being due to inadequate flow of blood. The
treatment of this is through anesthesia,
acupuncture and steroids.

- Migraines
- Intense pain at one side of the head accompanied
by weakness or dizziness. Treatment is by
medication based on acute attacks or frequent
attacks. -
- Fibromyalgia Syndrome
- Chronic pain in muscles and tissues that
surrounds joints and fatigue caused due to
deficient growth hormone secretion, Psychological
factors, Dopamine dysfunction, stress, genetic
predisposition. The same is treated by exercise,
prescription medication, behavioral intervention,
alternative and complementary medicine.

- Disability and pain post back or leg surgery.
Treatment is done by minor nerve blocks, physical

attached. Treatment includes drugs, stimulators
and antidepressants - Cranial Neuralgias
- Pain in the nerves that conducts sensory nerve
impulses . Treatment includes Anti-seizure drugs
and painkillers.

- Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
- It is due to severe swelling or changes in skin.
Medications and distinct physical therapies are
the main treatments. - Nerve injury pain caused by herpes, diabetes,
alcohol or trauma - It is due the peripheral nervous system and
metabolic factors causing mechanical injury due
to excess alcohol, or trauma. Treatment involves
respective medication and tests to maintain right
levels of glucose, etc.
