1. Planning System in Lao PDR
? The history of planning in Lao PDR.

• ? Centralised economic management (1975-85)
• All economic divisions were set centrally by
  upper management (Prices Services) - Plans as
  legal documents

• Market-oriented economic management (since1986)
• A need for the supervision and management by the
  government ( for equitable distribution and
  Justice for all)
