• Reduction in choice due to economy driving

• Restructure district by fall, K-5 and 6-8
• Merge 2 smallest schools by fall
• Significant savings for district and no decrease
  in program for students
• Decrease staff through attrition (5 retirements
  this year) few layoffs (approx. 3 teachers)

  reassigned
• PS Additional retirements will reduce these
