Softball? Isnt that just baseball played with
girls?

• Softball was first invented in the year 1888 in
  Chicago as an indoor game. The game consists of a
  12 inch hard ball that is pitched underhand by
  the pitcher. The ball used in this game is 3
  inches larger than the ball used in baseball. It
  also consists of 3 bases that are 60 ft. apart
  from each other as opposed to baseball where the
  bases are 90 ft. apart.

  baseball which is 90 ft.
• There are two different types of softball, fast
  pitch and slow pitch.
