  • You should listen to determine if the frequency
    is busy when selecting a frequency on which to
    transmit.
  • Calling CQ
  • You indicate you are looking for any station with
    which to make contact by calling CQ followed by
    your callsign.
  • The meaning of the procedural signal "CQ" is
