2TEAM CONCEPT
The goal of TEAM is to assist family members (FM)
who are relocating with their sponsors (military
members or Federal civilian employees) to
continue their current jobs or gain new
employment in the new geographic location.

5Coverage
- Family members of civilian employees or military
members who are
- affiliated with the US Army Medical Command
(MEDCOM) or Army Medical Department (AMEDD) and
- have received notice of a Permanent Change of
Station (PCS)
- MEDCOM/AMEDD employees who are relocating with
their military or civilian sponsor (sponsors do
not have to be MEDCOM or AMEDD) who have received
notice of PCS
6Definition of Family Member
Family members who are authorized to move on the
sponsors orders.
7Eligibility
- In addition to having the status of a family
member who is relocating with a civilian or
military sponsor, the family member must be
eligible for placement in a Federal position, by
any of the following ways - Reassignment
- Change to lower grade
- Repromotion
- Reinstatement
- VRA appointment
- EO 12721 appointment
8Qualifications FM Must
- be qualified to perform the duties of the offered
position in accordance with OPM and/or agency
qualification standards, and
- meet other requirements related to the job, e.g.,
license to practice a profession, drivers
license, etc.

10THE PROCESS
- - The family member submits a resume to the TEAM
database at https//ncweb.ria.army.mil/team. The
name of the family member will appear on a
bi-weekly list that will be sent to a TEAM
coordinator in the area selected by the family
member. - The TEAM Coordinator will forward the list to the
appropriate MEDCOM supervisors/managers. The
list has links to family members resumes in the
TEAM database.
11The Process - Continued
- MEDCOM supervisor/manager reviews incoming family
members resumes and decides. The supervisor
gets CPACs assistance and advice.
- If the decision is to select, the supervisor will
initiate a name request RPA and send to the CPOC.

- The CPOC clears PPP. If there is no PPP match,
the CPOC will verify eligibility and
qualifications and processes the action
- The CPAC makes job offer, sets entry-on-duty
(EOD) date, in-processes
- FM reports for duty

- Resumes will be deleted from the TEAM database
when the family member accepts a job offer or
after 30 days counted from job availability date,
whichever comes sooner.

- Recommend changes through CPOCMA and in
coordination with CPD

required documentation
- Complete the processing of RPA
- Ensure a remark on the NPA that the employee is
not entitled to PCS entitlements and return rights

- Assist supervisors in short and long range
planning to accommodate FMs
