• Chinese origin
• only the emperor was allowed to own one
• if anyone else owned one they would be sentenced
  to death
• bred to be a companion, not guardian
• were fed the best food

Physiological characteristics

• large dark eyes
• tightly curled tail
• black muzzle
• strong legs
• come in fawn (a peachy kind of color), silver
  and black
• flat face
• short snout

Care/health

• keep their faces clean to avoid infections
• give it love
• do not leave them in the car with the window up
  in the summer
• do not leave them out too long in the winter
• pugs can easily become fat
• pugs must get plenty of exercise

• they like stroller rides
• they are lazy dogs
• they are toy dogs
• They are very, VERY loyal
• they do not do any specific job
• they are bred in Ontario and Quebec
• GREAT FAMILY DOGS!
