• Vipers are very poisonous. Their hollow fangs
  are filled with venom.

• Pit vipers are different from other vipers
  because they have heat sensitive pits on their
  snout. They use these to find their prey.

• Pit Vipers live mainly in North and South
  America.

• The Pit Viper includes rattlesnakes,
  moccasins, copperheads, and lanceheads.

• Rattlesnakes eat mostly mice and small lizards.

• The water moccasin is a really deadly snake.

• All true copperheads live in North America.

• The most dangerous pit vipers are members of the
  group lancehead snakes.
