7 Objectives

• To improve effectiveness, quality and relevance
  of learning
• To encourage employers to utilise range of
  learning and development approaches
• To ensure workers achieve qualifications required
  for registration with SSSC
• To develop the SCQF and align CPD activities with
  the SCQF
• To promote the creation of specialist awards for
  social service workers where necessary
• To put in place transitional arrangements re the
  PQ Framework
• To develop CPD activity which supports the
  delivery of integrated services
