Registration, Funding Leadership Reviewing the

Registration Process
  • Annual registration required
  • After Spring Break each spring we will open up
    re-registration for the following year
  • Registration Entails
  • Paper Packet (Registration Form,
    Non-Discrimination Statement, End of Year Report,
    and Advisor End of Year Report)
  • Online Updates in Database
  • Submit updated Constitution
  • Two officers attend an Officer Orientation

  • Review the benefits and resources available to
    RSOs
  • Inform RSOs of University Policies that apply
  • Begin the networking process
  • Remaining Orientation Dates
  • Monday, November 2nd 400pm ARKU 504
  • Thursday, December 3rd 400pm ARKU 504
  • Monday, February 1st 400pm ARKU 504
  • Monday, March 15th 400pm ARKU 504

Funding for RSOs
  • RSOs can have income through
  • fundraisers, donations, collecting dues or ASG
    funding
  • RSO Checking Account ASG
  • Office

ASG Funding
  • Three funding cycles per academic year
  • In order to be eligible for ASG funding
  • Registered with CLCE and in good standing
  • Attend a funding informational meeting
  • Submit your budget in the correct format and by
    the stated deadline
  • ASG Constitution states
  • RSOs must not receive funding from other
    University of Arkansas fees, sporting events,
    living group, or living group organization.

  • The first funding round is coming!
  • Required Informational Meetings Monday,
    October 19th   4pm ARKU 511Wednesday, October
    21st  1230pm ARKU 511Friday, October 23rd  3pm
     ARKU 511 Tuesday, October 27th   12pm ARKU
    511Thursday, October 29th  2pm ARKU 511
  • Budgets are due Tuesday, November 3rd  at 1200pm
    (noon) to asgrso_at_uark.eduInterviews will take
    place November 5-8th , please stop by the ASG
    Office (AU A669) on November 3rd after 12 noon to
    sign up for an interview.
