Overview of Process
  • Proposals are coordinated and prioritized by Task
    Forces
  • Lower Hybrid ICRF physics
  • Transport Edge and Divertor
  • Burning Plasma Advanced Tokamak
  • MHD Basic Science Diagnostic Development
  • End of December Task Forces evaluate proposals
    for importance, scientific risk, compatibility
with machine constraints, etc. to define
    priorities
  • Priorities are determined among new Ideas
presented here Ideas presented last year and
    existing mini-proposals.
  • Mid-late January High priority proposals are
    expanded into mini-proposals. Experimental run
    time is governed by mini-proposals.
