• This guide contains important information about
  prohibited dogs in UAE according to the
  Ministerial Decree No (64) for (2005) concerning
  the importing of pet animals (
  Dogs Cats) to the UAE

Types of Dogs prohibited in UAE

• Pet Bull Terrier.
• American Pet Bull.
• American Staffordshire Terriers.
• Japanese Tosa.
• Dogo Argentino.
• Fila Braziliero.
• Also any specified types of fighting dogs.
• Other types of dogs can be added to the list
  by means of an order by the Animal Wealth
  Department for ensuring the health and care of
  man and animals.

• The illegal possession of prohibited dog give the
  Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries the right
  to send the dog back to the exporting country at
  the expense of the owner, confiscated or
  destroyed in case the owner refused to do so .
