Student Comments!
  • Its fun because we are learning about things
that we didnt know about and you get to work
with other people and to see if they have traits
    that you dont have.
  • Its interesting because other students around
the world are doing the same project and we get
    to see their results.
  • Its a bit hard surveying others when they dont
follow directions properly. Some people thought
kids had dimples when they didnt.

12
Positives for student learning.
  • Students were connected worldwide.
  • Students participated in a real life global
    project.
  • Students enjoyed the role of being a Real
    Scientist gathering data.
  • Students experienced using the internet as a tool
    for learning.

13
Positives for teachers!
  • Project was well designed with clear, supportive
material for teachers just beginning to work
    on-line.
  • Integration of Science, English and Technology
    curriculum areas.
  • Time frame was flexible, so learning activities
could be scheduled to fit into the busy school
    program.
