- Cable 13 established in 1976- the first student
TV station started in the nation. - Duke Digital Initiative (DDI) major technology
pilot project involving iPods, digital video and
audio content, and course videos of student
skits. - Duke in Los Angeles intensive training program
for students interested in pursuing a career in
entertainment.

- Orcun Unlu has taken it to the next level.
- 96 movies per academic year, 12 per month.

- Currently in talks with Swank Motion Pictures
regarding streaming as well as on-demand video

with the Ruckus Network. - Because Duke is on the NC network they use, they
are offering us access to their 1.5 million song

- As Director of Media Content Distribution, I
will pursue partnerships with available online
movie services. - Very possible Duke could get a discount on movie
rentals/purchases.

and planning between Duke and Apple. - A TV in every commons room
