  • Type 0 To express universal truth
  • Type 1 To express present or future
    activities which are true or likely
  • Type 2 To express present or future
    activities which are impossible or unlikely
    to happen
  • Type 3 To deal with past situations

  • Form Present tense, Present tense
  • The conjunction IF can be replaced by
    WHEN
  • e.g. a. If we ice under the sun, it melts
    quickly.
  • b. When we ice under the sun, it
    quickly.
