7Rezoning and Property Sale
- Remove industrial land use from an inner-city
residential location - Rezone the Council owned land to a Residential
Zone to facilitate its potential sale and
redevelopment for residential purposes - Facilitate the rezoning of the combined sites
with appropriate planning controls in the form of
a Development Plan Overlay to provide development
certainty to Council and the local community
about the sites ultimate development capacity - Lease back of the property to provide continuity
of services for the community - Public submissions to be received
