  • QMWG objectives for 2005-
  • New ERC contract 2005.- monitor registration fee
    over next three
  • years.
  • Progress Electronic test registration project to
    completion jointly with ACC MAAG - Target 2005
  • Update Code of Practice in line with ATC
    requirements.
  • Maintain COP on ATC-ERC website and update code
    holders electronically.
  • COP advisory group members continue to meet
    regularly to resolve issues related to COP, minor
    modifications and ACC amendments
  • Liaise with ATIEL on dual aspects of the Code
    including BOI and VM readacross
  • Bring new tests into the Code as necessary i.e.
    DV4E3
  • (CEC L-93-04)
  • Liaise with CEC working groups on accreditation,
    referencing protocols and test monitoring

  • Test registration trend for 2004 were 20 below
    2003.
  • Fee 395 introduced 1st August 2004
  • New contract started in Jan 2005.

Proposal for QMWG consideration- Pilot using
HFRR test CEC SL-40
  • For engine tests maintain-
  • ISO 9000 ISO 17025 ERC Registration CEC
    WG membership for CEC accreditation
  • For Pilot scheme on HFRR-
  • ISO 9000 ERC reference data CEC WG
    membership for CEC accreditation.
  • Monitor progress and ask SDG to evaluate Quality
    trends
  • Target completion Q4 2005 given.
  • If successful discuss rolling out to other bench
    tests.
  • Consider possible future funding methods for
    reference data collection and charting.

CEC Bench tests Reference results-Possible
funding options.
  • Pilot scheme for reference test data logging for
    4 tests from ERC ongoing. No cost.
  • HFRR, NOACK, FZG, XUD11 Fuel Test.
  • 15 other bench tests in CEC
  • e.g. Viscosity, HTHS, seals etc
  • Funding options ( estimate 45,000 per year)
  • Per test instrument?
  • Per laboratory?
  • Per company?
  • By Industry organisations?
  • By CEC through the 4 Industry Association members?
