  • Confidence of consumers and other stakeholders in
    EFSA is considered essential.
  • Hence independence, high scientific quality,

    characteristics of EFSA.
  • Independence does not mean EFSA operates in a
    vacuum.
  • Thus, EFSA bodies interact frequently with
    various stakeholders.
