School of Accountancy and Management Information
Systems
  • Nearly 90 of 2007 graduating seniors had
    full-time jobs or were accepted to graduate
    schools.
  • Accountants work in large global accounting firms
    as sole practitioners, internal auditors,
    consultants and business advisors, CEOs in
    business and industry, in government and
    municipalities, in academe and higher education,
    banking and financial institutions.

  • Courses range from Economics of Low-Income
    Countries (International) to Urban Economics
    (Public Policy).

  • Arditti Center for Risk Management and Center for
    Financial Services link students with the Chicago
    Mercantile Exchange and disadvantaged
    communities.
  • Virtual Portfolio Competition, funded by DePaul
    alumnus Richard Driehaus of Driehaus Capital
    Management, gives student teams an opportunity to
    manage a "virtual" investment portfolio.
