organization and its members that FLW Outdoors
has no interest in attempting to own or dictate
to the TBF organization. I believe its in TBFs
best interest, both short and long term, to be an
independent organization that is both managed and
ruled by its members.

Potential Problems with 6 angler Club Team format

• This format has failed in the past
• Only BASS/ESPN sponsors from State level and on
  up.
• Cost to NHBF to send 36 anglers to a Regional
  Tournament could be as high as 45,000
• Additional cost to send 1 or 2 club teams to
  National
• Many of our members cant get additional VC time
• Some members may not be able to afford
• Will have 6 top hooks (Ringers) form paper
  clubs in order to try to stack things in their
  favor
• As the Regional Tournament approaches, 1 or 2
  members of club teams have to drop out. How do
  you now qualify 1 or 2 angler replacements? . .
  . The State qualifying tournament was finished
  months ago.
• You now have anglers buying their way in
  because they have the 250 and VC time.

• May or may not give full accounting of how your
  dues are spent.
• Every member of every club must sign a new
  contract every year.
• Can only use BASS/ESPN dictated constitution
  bylaws
• BASS/ESPN has total control
• Mandatory term limit for your president
• Must get permission to use logo on literature
  flyers etc.
• Cant say or write anything negative about
  BASS/ESPN
• Can only have sponsors who have paid BASS/ESPN,
  e.g., Triton Merc for 6-man club team format.
• Not allowed to participate in BassFan offers.
• Club must be 100 exclusively BASS

• Must Promote Ranger, Yamaha, Evinrude, Lowrance,
  etc. at tournaments, newsletters, flyers, web
  sites, etc.
• Goal is 80 members in TBF/FLW
• Display FLW logo on all printed materials
• 5 year agreement
