FUNDING

PROGRAM FUNDINGThe program is a Cooperative
Agreement (grant) between the U.S. Government
(DLA) and the State of Nevada (NCED). The program
funding has been received since 1985 and NCED has
had program oversight since 1989.

ENROLLMENT FEEOne time Fee of 50.00 for each
firm which is used to offset costs of the
electronic programs. The Nevada program has
recently completed its seventeenth (17th)
consecutive year of partnership with the Defense
Logistics Agency.

SERVICES

INITIAL INPUTPOP assists firms with the
necessary electronic enrollments such asDUN
Bradstreet, Central Contractor Registration
(CCR), Pro-Net, Commercial And Government Entity
(CAGE) Code, Electronic Funds Transfer, Credit
Card capabilities, etc.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
Provided throughout the entire procurement cycle
such as
Bid/Proposal Preparation Pre/Post Award
Activities Administrative Issues
The Electronic Commerce issues are a
concentrated effort!

MARKETING PLANWe assist Nevada firms in
developing a strategy for their services and/or
products. Locating the CENTRALIZED,
DECENTRALIZED, TENANT ORGANIZATIONS and
OUTSOURCED (contract) procuring activities is
outlined in the plan when creating the strategy
roadmap and counseling the firms.

TRAINING WORKSHOPS POP hosts/co-hosts these
activities to Educate firms in the Govt
arena.Promote teaming arrangements.Develop
joint ventures.Identify subcontracting
opportunities. Agencies and Prime contractors are
invited to participate outline their structure
and identify opportunities.

ELECTRONIC PROGRAMSAllows direct daily email
downloads of sorted bids (Codes/Key Words) to
firms. Specifications and Standards plus, item
procurement histories. The continuous Electronic
Broadcast feature alerts firms of very specific
current information. Also provided is
identification support of Vendor Databases Bid
Boards.

WEBSITE(http//www.nevadaoutreachcenter.com)
There are numerous enhancements currently
planned for our website. The bimonthly newsletter
(pdf format) is being posted, along with links
that are being arranged to provide an industry
specific marketing plan. A Calendar of Events
and Bulletin Board is also being utilized to
provide continuous general Information.

POP STRUCTUREWe have offices in Carson City and
Las Vegas containing resource centers, reference
materials and an internet access station. Each
office also has administrative and technical
support personnel assigned to help out when
needed!
