Important Advice
  • The more you tell OFO about your plans, the more
    they can help you.
  • ALWAYS keep your receipts! You may need them to
    give to OFO.
  • If you are going to want a reimbursement for a
purchase, you will DEFINITELY need a receipt!
  • See OFO at least 4-5 weeks BEFORE you plan on
spending money (SUFAC Funds or Agency Account
    Funds)

15
Two Types of Funds
  • Agency Funds
  • Any money that an organization raises during
fundraisers (bake sales, candle sales, etc.) or
    dues paid by org members.
  • Can be used to purchase things that the org wants
(excluding alcohol, tobacco and firearms) - more
    flexibility than SUFAC funds

16
Two Types of Funds
  • SUFAC Funds (Segregated Fees)
  • Money that is allocated to organizations through
a yearly budget process. There are stricter
rules as to what the money can be used to
    purchase.
  • Budget Training Sessions 500 pm in the 1965
Room on either Tuesday, October 9, or Wednesday,
October 10 (you pick the one you want)
  • Budgets Due to SUFAC
  • First week in November, watch your e-mails for
    updates.

17

be approved by the Office of Student Life 2 weeks
    prior to the event
