intending to buy some durable item.
In fact, in large non metro towns majority have
purchase plans this diwali.

Of those who are buying, apparel, Utensils, gold,
durables and painting the house tops their
wish-list.

Whether postponing any purchases?
Some skepticisms is also there as 1 out of 3
consumers have postponed some of their purchases.
More so among affluent and Metro consumers.

Of those deferring buying, durables and gold
jewellery is deferred the most.

Expenditure on holidays
Decline in family holidays this year, more so in
North and South.
