  • Attendance

Attendance
  • School Starts at 825 and ends at 239.
  • MPR opens at 700. Breakfast begins at 745.
  • Report to the office if you are late.
  • Come to school every day, even if
  • Strive for Perfect Attendance.
  • Our job is to come to school every day, on time
    and be ready to learn.

5 And On Time!
  • Attendance Goal for the 2009-2010 School Year
    96.8
  • Classes will complete 5 And On Time Banners in
    order to earn rewards.
  • The class at each grade level with the highest
    attendance each month will receive a trophy in
    their classroom.
  • Students with perfect attendance will be receive
    a surprise reward. In addition, they will get
    popcorn and a movie ticket.
  • Students with poor attendance will need to meet
    with Assistant Principal.

Dress Code
  • No baggy pants, no spaghetti straps
  • No short shorts
  • No midriffs
  • No inappropriate pictures
  • Wear shoes you can play in. Sandals must have
    straps.
  • Always look your best!

BEFORE SCHOOL
  • Students are not to arrive on campus before 700
    a.m.
  • Students arriving before 755 a.m. must go
    directly to the cafeteria.
  • Playground supervision begins at 755 a.m.

TO AND FROM SCHOOL
  • Walking
  • Stay out of yards
  • Use crosswalks
  • Directly to school and to home
  • Bus (Field Trips)
  • Quiet
  • Seated at all times

RIDING BIKES
  • Riding bikes

  • Must wear a helmet
  • Crosswalks
  • Walk on campus
  • Lock in bike cage

PLAYGROUND
  • No running on blacktop or sidewalks!
  • No playing in trees or planters!
  • No playing in mud or water puddles!
  • No playing in the bathrooms!
  • No eating on the playground! During snack, you
    must wait until you get to the benches to eat
    your food.

Rules of the Games
  • Swings
  • Sit on your bottom while swinging!
  • No running through the swing area!
  • If someone is waiting in line, use 30 count rule
    (1 count forward and back swing)!
  • No twisting on the swings!
  • No jumping from swings stop before getting
    off!!
  • Hamster Cage Pit Area
  • Maximum of 12 students on cage at one time!

  • No tag teams!
  • One student on the slide at one time!
  • No throwing of sand or wood chips!
  • No walking on the perimeter wall!

Four Square Rules
  • The server must stand outside the corner of
    square A and yell, ready before serving.
  • If a player misses the ball after it bounces in
    his/her square, he/she must leave the game.
  • Play continues by each player hitting the ball
    into any other square until a foul is committed.
  • When a foul is committed, the player goes to the
    end of the line and all players move to the next
    higher square, if unoccupied.
  • Fouls include when a ball doesnt bounce in a
    square before being sent to another square, when
    a ball doesnt land in the court, when a ball
    lands on the line, when a player fails to return
    the ball, and when a player hits the ball more
    than once.
  • Slams or babies are not permitted!!!!

Tetherball
  • Starting the game The server starts the game by
    tossing the ball into the air and striking it
    with his/her hand or fist in the direction he/she
    chooses. The opponent may not strike the ball
    until it passes him/her on the second swing
    around the pole. As the ball travels, each
    player tries to hit the ball to wind the rope
    completely around the pole. The player who winds
    the rope above the foul line on the pole and in
    the direction of play wins the game.
  • Fouls (Opponent automatically wins!)
  • Hitting the ball with any part of the body other
    than hands.
  • Stopping continuous play by holding or catching
    the ball.
  • Touching the pole with any part of the body.
  • Interfering with progress of the game by hitting
    rope with forearms or hands.
  • During game, players must remain in their zone.
  • Stepping on neutral zone lines.
  • Throwing the ball.
  • Winding the ball around the pole below the foul
    line (5ft. above the ground).
  • After winning three consecutive games, player
    must go to the back of the line.
  • You may not play by your own rules!!!!

    let go!
  • Red Jungle Gym
  • Do not jump off of bars.
  • Do not sit on the bars.
  • Rock Climbing Wall
  • One person at a time climbs up one side and down
    the other side.
  • No sitting on top.
  • Jump Rope
  • Jump rope must stay on the ground! (You may not
    swing it in the air!!!!)
  • Jump rope may not be put around anyone!!!

CAFETERIA AND LUNCH TABLES
  • Adults in charge
  • Wait in line patiently
  • Use indoor voices
  • You sit as you arrive
  • Be neat and clean up after yourself
  • Wait to be excused
  • Go directly to playground

  • Elbows are not on the table.
  • Napkins are on the lap.
  • No talking with food in your mouth.
  • Clean up after yourself and others.
  • Do not get up until directed to do so
