General Statement
Tigers are a type of wild cat. They have
stripes. They are the largest type of cat in the
world. They are mammals.

Appearance

• Most tigers have orange fur with
• black stripes. Some tigers are white .

Habitat

• Tigers live in lots of places. Some live in
  forests, wood, mangrove swamps and tall grass.
  They live in Asia.

Diet
Tigers only eat meat. Tigers eat deer, wild pigs
and wild cattle.

Reproduction and stages of growth

• Tigers give birth to live babies. They are
  called cubs and drink milk from their mother. A
  tiger does not like people near her babies.
• A baby does not leave its mum until it has
  learnt to hunt.
