Guided Practice
  • We are going to use our grammar cards
  • For today, we are only going to use the adjective
    cards.
  • We are going to identify the adjectives and then
decide which noun it is describing. We will also
    decide which question it answers
  • Ready?
  • Lets do 1-5 together

12
Independent Practice
  • Independently, do sentences 6-12
  • Underline the adjective and draw an arrow to the
noun that it describes or modifies.
  • Decide which question it answers.
  • As a challenge, try to label all of the other
parts of speech that you know.

13
Closing
  • Return to your picture on the index card.
  • Write 3 sentences to describe this picture.
  • One sentence should have an adjective that tells
    me what kind.
  • Another sentence should tell me how many.
  • The last sentence should tell me which one.
